But when I have my client run the self-extracting setup wizard, the part where it registers controls and DLLs fails for this FTP OCX, giving a message something along the lines of "Error registering CSFTP32.OCX....cannot load module". I have gotten it registered on 2 of the 4 machines that I need it on. I'm using VB4 and I know that the setup program doesn't successfully register OCXs, so I have tried in manually using regsvr32. The problem is, when I first use the control through IE5 and download it, Windows asks to reboot. I reboot and upon going back into Windows I get an error: "Error Registering OCX..." When I go to use my control, all works fine with no problems at all. Question: Why do I get the error about registering the control?
